Annual Fundraising Event!!

Ivory Coast Medical Relief Team (ICMRT), a local non-profit group created to respond to the devastated health care system and the needs of populations affected by the Ivory Coast and Liberian war, is hosting its first Gala Dance and Silent Auction October 4, 2003 from 7:00 pm to midnight, in Seattle at the University of Washington Husky Union Building (HUB) West Ballroom. This event will feature popular music from the 50s and 60s by "Daryl and the Diptones" and music by AKLANE, a popular recording artist from Ivory Coast, who will be making her American debut. Refreshments will be served and there will be a “by donation” wine and soda bar.

          You will have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of items and services including wonderful gift baskets, airline tickets, and a two-night creek side cottage retreat!

All proceeds will go towards the shipment and distribution of medicines and medical supplies collected by Northwest Medical Teams, our partner, to care for internally displaced persons and refugee populations from recent Côte D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and Liberian conflicts.

This event is ICMRT's primary fundraiser for the year. Tickets will be $35.00 per person. A Table (seating 8) may be purchased for $300. Reservations are required to comply with rules of the HUB dance hall. RSVP by September 20 by mailing the RSVP card and your check to ICMRT at the address below. Please indicate the number of persons in your party.
